It says 1/8 or faster in the picture. Barnes have always needed a faster twist rate.

Barnes LRX is a monolithic bullet and these types of rounds require a faster twist rate. Hornady 200/212/220 ELD-X/M do well in a 1:9 or 1:10 because those rounds are lead shanked. Therefore weight distribution and stabilization of the bullet in flight happens at a different rate of speed when exiting the muzzle.

Stoked that my new custom has a 1:8 twist and will be able to shoot monolithic bullets without any hesitations! Look forward to learning more about this new option in 30 Cal.

I have a 300 norma mag with a 1-9 twist I believe. I really want to try these to see how they shoot.
The problem will be finding them in Canada
I hate to say it but the problem will be getting them to stabilize.
I tried some 140 cutting edge bullets in my 8 twist saum thinking it would work, they call for a 7.5 twist but I thought I'd be good.
Not the case they key holed at 100 yards.
If Barnes says they need an 8 twist they'll need an 8 twist
