I have some 280 LRXs for my 338 RUM. However, somewhere along the line I figured out that with Barnes bullets you want high velocity (above 3,000 fps) to provide a big hydrostatic shock. So... I started using the 210 TTSX instead of the 280 LRX. Those 210's work great running about 3,200 fps. So far they have accounted for a nice 6X6 bull elk at 358 yards and a small whitetail doe at about 220 yards. No meat damage and neither animal when over 20 yards.
