I am wondering if anyone has tried the Barnes 168gr LRX ? I can't find load data for them anywhere. I have some H1000 or IMR 4350 to try.

I loaded the 168 lrx in a 1-9 hart, @ 3250 fps and they keyholed at 100yds

went with the 145 and work great , want to buy some 168??

In a 7RUM they grouped 1"...sideways. They sent me the loads last week showing use in the 9.5 twist. Nope that won't fly. I have 30 left if interested.

3.625" COAL 26" BBL

H1000 79.2 grs 3096 FPS - max load FR 101.4%
IMR4350 68.8 grs 2997 FPS - max load FR 87.6%

Like most solids they like to jump.

you guys shooting barns push the hard max and just above max load data and seat them .075 to .125 off lands. they will stablize and be accurate but there b.c. still sucks.

It's not the BC that kills. You can adjust for that the same as any other bullet in flight. It's the design that kills or doesn't. Barnes just kill DRT for me. Not that every other bullet I have used over 50 years hasn't/doesn't kill...if you place the shot...just might have some tracking.
