Baney box on a Kelbly Atlas?

Has anyone ever put a baney box (to run up to 3.100") on a Kelbly atlas tactical? I'm wondering if it would work or if the trigger hanger prevents the magazine box cut to be extended as needed with a baney box.

Not possible, as the longer mag box will require the bolt to go further rearward. This is inhibited by not only the trigger hanger, but the bolt stop. On the atlas, the bolt stop functions as part of the mechanical ejector. You'd have to machine the action body to move the entire stop assembly rearward, yet I don't know if it'd even function properly after doing so. Way too much work, just buy a bighorn origin medium length if you truly need 3.2", and that action also incorporates mechanical ejector and control round feed. I like my bighorn actions quite a bit.

Thanks for the response. That's actually exactly what I've been looking at. Another justifiable reason for a new gun.
