What is the difference of G1 (Flat based pointer) versus G6 (Flat base Spire PT)? Use example for .257 Dia. 117 gr sst or a 100 gr Speer varmint bullet.

Speer lists the BC of the 100gr bullet at .255
The problem is that this is useless information, as they failed to declare standard atmosphere, velocity, and drag standard.
A telltale that the bullet maker has no actual clue about this stuff.

If it's assumed G1 .255, under ICAO SL std. conditions, then we still need to know the velocity in basis to lookup G6 drag coefficient -for velocity. So there is too much information missing.
