Badlands BD-2 load data

Loaded some of the 150 BD2's in my recently re-barreled 8 twist 24" 7 Max. Was hoping to get these up near 3200 fps, Unfortunately it seems like I have a slow barrel. Ejector marks start showing up about 2950 fps. Have tried H1000, RL23 and H4831sc. The H4831sc shows some promise. Bullets seated to 3.030 OAL (0.020 off).
Here's the H4831sc:

61 - 2879 fps
62 - 2936 fps
63 - 2962 fps
64 - 3016 fps
65 - 3058 fps
66 - 3108 fps
67 - 3108 fps - Ejector mark

Looks like there's a node between 60-61 and 62-63. Too bad I'm pressured out at 66-67. Thinking I may load from 62-65 in 0.3 grain increments to see if I can find a better node. Thoughts?
I would be looking at nodes in the 64-66 range based on that target.

It was a productive morning at the range.

Tested some Retumbo, H1000, and 7977.

Some load data from this weekend. I'll have some 250grain SBD2 data within the month. Now that my rifle is broken in, it doesn't like the 275's like it used to. My twist is definitely too slow for the 275's at 1:9.3. Granted, I did shoot a couple sub MOA groups at the 300 yard line (barely) with the 275's, but I want them a lot tighter. Although, they didn't shoot horrible out at 1000 on Sunday, and these rounds were seated .010" further out compared to what I usually seat them at. Guess I'll have to do a seating depth test with the same charge to see if it tightens up.

Anyways, these speeds and charges might give someone a starting point. Ran H1000 and IMR 7977.

I still have a few months before I get to do anything with my .338 NMI, but you, Sir, are getting me way too excited. Thanks for sharing.

Today I went out to verify dope on my 205gr load. From my results today it looks like I'm actually getting .412 g7 over advertised .402 g7

Was only able to take it to 1005 yards today. Next outing I'll be taking them to 1960 yards
Heck ya, that's good to hear. My 8 twist 30 nosler should be done any day, I'm ready for it!!!!

I tested magpro and retumbo, however I started the retumbo too low. Started at 70gn and worked up to 73gn. 73 grains only gave me 2676. Going to have to retest retumbo and work up starting at 74gn.

8. 83.5 - 2937
9. 84.0 - 2950

Did not hit max pressure with any of these, could have gone a little higher, but there is a good node that printed around .25" at 7-9
