B&C medalist style 2 opinions

I am having a custom rifle built in the near future and had my mind set on a B&C medalist style 2 vertical grip stock. After talking with my builder he suggested I pick another stock due to the square forend. He said some guys just don't like the the blocky forend on a hunting gun. Anyone that has had one and has an opinion either way, I would appreciate your input.

I agree had it on a lr 260 and sanded the front round. great on bags - sucks hunting

I just got one yesterday, I plan on sanding down the sides and rounding the corners a little. I am doing it for looks more than anything. Mine is going on a .338 LM for hunting.
