I have a live long buddy that lives in the Prescott area. He's is a died in the wool hunter! I have the opportunity put in for a tag and have his help if I draw a tag this year. Looking for info on tags , areas and whatever else fellow hunters can give on that part of the state

okie, most of the premier muley hunts here in Az are pretty tough draws. There are some more decent odds for the units northwest of Prescott. If your friend has some bonus points, perhaps apply with him to help you draw. I've seen some decent bucks taken in those units in the last five years. My brother in law killed a 172" in 2013 which is good for that area. The top units in the state are on the Az Strip, but they are the toughest draw in the state. Good luck
