I have approx. 150 4'x4' sheets of 1/4 AR plate steel. These were removed from a rifle quality "spare no expense" indoor range. 90 of them have 2" angle welded to 2 sides and they will bolt together with no gaps. there is 40"x48" useable if you remove angle.

The other 50 sheets have no angle attached.

There is very, very minimal rust and a little sound deadening still attached but I can clean a sheet with a cup brush in about 1 minute.

I have shot it with a relatively hot 454 Casull at 10 yards with XTP's. It did bend the plate slightly but did not dent or loose any surface material at the point of impact. I do not know the exact grade of the steel.

Price is 150.00 per sheet with or without angle.

Local pick up only located in NW Indiana.

PM works best or call 219-916-4565

1st pic shot with 223 @ 100 yards with 75 gr TAP ammo.

Same load, 2 plates clamped together.

300 Win Mag @100 yards, 180 gr Partition. Two layers clamped together.

300 Win...Removed first layer of steel.

I don't know the exact grade but it's plenty tough.

Prices lowered to $125 for clean sheet/ $100 for pieces with angle.

You are calling it AR steel????
as in Like abrasion resistant????
or
as in like "assault rifle" (Armalite rifle)

Because from the looks of the photo's, its neither. It looks like carbon steal?
Please respond!

It's got to be true ar something, maybe ar360 or ar 235.... pretty sure .223 will go right through 1/4 a36 mild steel...

It is NOT carbon steel. I have a 20 ton press brake. It bends 1/4 plate with ease. It will not bend this material at all.

It was removed from a spare no expense indoor range. These were the ceiling baffles.

Phone number is right there if you have more questions.
