Anything new in bipod world this year?

I need a new bipod mostly for backpack hunting, I'm going to make some kind of pouch to attach it to my pack or my waist belt, and deploy it when I get to where I might need it. I think I've looked at everything and the Atlas CAL tall with the quick detach is the frontrunner. It weighs in at a pound. Is there anything new, that is as feature rich, that shaves some ounces? I like shooting off a bipod and a lot of my opportunities demand it. I am just wondering if there's a product out there that I overlooked.
