Hopefully sooner than later, I am going to get me a new varmint rifle for Coyotes and prairie dogs. I have owned .243 and .22-250 which I love and would be my first two choices. But I want something different and I love the 6 br and improved caliber.

Is there anyone using this as their varmint caibers? I would love to see some pics of the rifle if possible. Unless I go with a Savage, I realize I may have to build one. Unless someone has a nice custom repeater that they would like to sell..... :)

I'll have a report for ya in a month.
I'm building a 6mm BR on a Savage action.
26" McGowen Barrel, SSS Trigger,Stockade P-Dog Special Stock.
It'll definately put a small dent in our Varmint population here:D

The 6br may shoot smaller groups than the 243 but after shootin both all summer in field conditions @ prairie dogs the 243 was the better of the two. The 55grain Noslers really do a great job of red-mist out of the 243;) I might be interested in selling the Ebco 6br barrel after next season?
