Anyone Still Use A Herb's Howler

At $75.00 each I don't, there are others out there that work as well and don't cost nearly as much that I use. I might however buy one of his instructional CD's to see how his compares to what Bill Austins tape did and what I have learned by listening to coyotes over the years.

I think that a lot of people buy E-calls in today's world and then don't try to learn to use handheld calls. It's just so easy to use an e-call and have instant results over taking the time to learn to use handheld calls and figure out what the different howl and bark combinations mean. It's a matter of what works for each of us in the end pretty much like what rifle we choose to use. Having started in a world without e-calls I still use hand calls and often build my own.

I don't anymore, those are a blast from the past..........

Personally, I've found the Crittr Call (biggest size) far and away the easiest call out there to carry and use for all sorts of game and for howling for yotes or wolves it works model perfect!

I agree. I have an electronic and several mouth calls. Anymore I do way better blowing a mouth call...
