Anyone here done a 6mm/223 remington?

After dinking with the Grendel for a while and seeing the new 25-45 Sharps for AR15's I got to thinking about trying a 223 Remington necked up to 6mm/.243 and setting it up for 90-100 grain bullets. I think a 90 grainer could be pushed to about 2950-3000 fps out of a AR.

I like the Idea of the Sharps using identical bolts and mags but think the longer leaner bullet in the 6mm would be more conducive to longer range efficiency. It also doesn't give up bolt strength like the PPC based AR cartridges.
 
I think I answered my own question. The 6x45 is exactly what I was thinking. I always thought it was a PPC based cartridge...:rolleyes:
 
I think 3k with 90s is a little optimistic. I think 2800 is more reasonable with 85-90gr bullets. I have a bunch of different load data that I got off the predatormasters forum.
