Anyone chronograph a .375 Ruger with 20" barrel?

I get 2560 FPS with a 300gr partition from a 20" Ruger Alaskan and a moderate load of H4350. The 300gr Sierra BT is 2630 from the same gun using a higher charge of h4350.

That shouldn't be a problem. I used Varget with the 260 Accobonds and 270 Hornadys and got 2760 and 2735 respectively.

Which bullet are you using? The Partitions are the slowest of all the 300gr bullets I've played with and the 300gr Sierras are the fastest. Most bullets fell somewhere in between.

I was running 78.0 Varget under a 260 Partition at 2,800 ft/sec. Accuracy was very good from my 20" Ruger Guide Gun.
Two shots went completely through a buffalo and were both caught in the off-side hide. Picture perfect expansion.

71.0 Varget achieved 2,500 ft/sec with the 300gr Partition but they weren't accurate in my rifle and I never tried a heavier charge. I think you could easily exceed 2,500 ft/sec.
