How far you willing to travel? I have gone to the range in Mifflan, PA. When I was there once I met a couple nice gentlemen from Virginia. The range is private. Becoming a member isn't hard at all. They have some steal set out but I would bring my own. Setting it up isn't bad as you can drive your truck up a dirt road through the range and set up targets. Just googlong your general area it looks like a 5 and half our drive. It's the same for me but I'm north of the range. Theirs a motel near buy. I would recommend a 2 day trip. Head out early on day one. Enjoy the whole day shooting. Stay the night. Get up early and do some more shooting and drive hone late morning to avoid traffic.
