Any Experience w/Athlon Ares 65mm Spotter?

Hey all, looking at an Athlon Ares or Vortex Razor. I know the big 3 are the way to go but they are out of my price range right now. Main purpose will be spotting shots out to 1000yds and spotting deer and elk. Any input is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I have a Cabelas krotos 15-45x65. I am preeeety sure it's an Athlon ares, but I am not positive. So disclaimer there.

From what I have read it's just behind the razor, as in just. Much better than the viper. I do NOT have experience behind either of those scopes.

I have watched bulls fight at about a mile. I have been quite pleased with it. I see no issues spotting animals at 1k.
