Antler growth????

Some studies that I have followed have suggested that its antler growth rate has a lot to do with habitat and sun light.
The growth rate isn't affected by sunlight, but the annual initiation of antler growth, calcification of the antler (and velvet shedding), and casting of the antler is. The growth rate, size, and conformation of antlers are controlled by the age of the male, his genetic potential for growth and size of antlers, and nutritional intake that can be devoted to antler growth (meaning if the have an injury or disease, or are still putting a lot of resources into body growth, as young males do, then they won't put as many nutrients and energy into antler growth).

This is correct ! It takes three basic things to make a large antlered buck, Genes, age, and nutrition ! Light only acts as an inner clock through the glands I spoke of earlier that signals the animal when it is time to change coats, breed, and along with all of this time to shed and restart antler growth, but light does not effect the growth rate of the antlers ! 91 is right ! Look it up on the NET and read all about it !
