Annealing

I would clean the cases, or at a minimum, clean the outside and inside of the case neck with fine steel wool and a bore brush.

Then do the annealing

Then do the resizing

Then do the case length trim if needed (chamfer inside and out)

My routine,
Resize, tumble, trim, anneal, sonic clean.
Sonic cleaning gets the sticky annealing tarnish off of the inside of the necks and cleans primer pockets. You could do the same thing with steel wool.

Just curious why you resize & trim before annealing?

I anneal only when I find that I am having issues with neck tension, since I collet neck size that is after the 3rd or 4th time. Here is my method, deprime, clean with hot water, pins and dish washer puck. After drying anneal, full length size, trim, then a go around in the tumbler with walnut shell & liquid turtle wax
