I've seen data published stating that the BC of a 140gr 6.5mm A-max ranges from .55 up to .618. What is it really?

It looks like they made 1-3 versions of that bullet.

1. 1.506" long with the .618 BC

2. 1.375" long with the .55 BC

Just to make it more confusing, Hornady lists the current bullet with a .585 BC.

It's beyond my limited brain resources.

The new Amax with the amp jacket works pretty good on the ballistics software with its listed .585 bc when started at 3k+ fps, the older style thinner jacket amax had listings of .595 and .618, they work ok by just plugging in .6, the 140 amp jacket bthp match works with .55 as it is just the new amax without a polymer tip.
