Alaska Ulimate Surival TV Terrible Editing

Anyone catch last week's episode of Alaska Ultimate Survival on Kodiak Island? This episode had me yelling at the TV. A couple of the teams were hunting deer. At one point they spot a little bitty spike deer. The next scene shows the guy shooting. They made it out that he missed the animal at like 50 yards. So, next scene you see a cow elk running away from the shot! Are these city slicker editors really that stupid? I'm sure a lot of people don't know the difference. Later in the show another guy is getting ready to shoot another buck. The buck he spots is a decent fork. Next scene is made to be 'looking through the scope' and you see a tiny little spike deer. The shot is fired and he walks up to the original fork buck! I could not believe how stupid these editors were! Goes to show that you can't believe anything you see on TV.

I noticed that too, was a little shocked but was too busy making fun of the guy that missed! That was the worst "attempt" ( if you could even call it that) i have ever seen at someone harvesting an animal, then he blames his pack! I just shook my head and laughed.

wow, i thought i was the only one that noticed the elk, all i could think was.... was that just an elk they cut in there? sure enough, i figure the camera man was probably oblivious to the fact there was a deer and didn't get the good footage, so they had to piece something in there. i'm sure most of the viewers didn't catch a thing

Try watching "Swamp People" with ol' "Choot em" Troy if you want to see bad editing. Keep an eye on the rifles. From second to second, the guns change completely from semi-auto to bolt action, from scoped to open sights. And the kill shots are all the same 3 or 4 shown week after week. It got so bad I quit watching the show.
