AICS CIP mag/Seekins

Hi,

I am building a .338 Edge and am currently looking at what mag system to go with.

After reading quite a bit on this forum, I see many folks suggest the Seekins DBM that allows up to 3.9" OAL?

My question is, how does the Seekins give a longer OAL, if it's using CIP mags that have an internal OAL of 3.7"?

Just spoke with them today regarding the same thing. Their old style setup would allow the use of a magazine capable of 3.9 COAL. They are currently out of those magazines so they discontinued that bottom metal. The CIP utilizes accuracy international magazines which only allow 3.7.
