ADI or ACI?

Looking for pro's and con's for a mounting a Angle Degree Indicator vs an Angle Cosine Indicator.

I dont have one yet but i will be geting the ACI.

Y? because 500yrds to target with .87 cosine up hill or down.

500yrds X .87cosine = 435yrd dial up.gun)

The ACI lets you do some calculations directly, without using a PDA. Knowing only the degrees requires you to have an angle chart, PDA etc.

AJ is right (unless your really good with numbers). The ACI will allow you to do some quick "on the fly" calculations. Cosign X MOA elevation for straight line distance= correct elevation dope(quick and dirty).
