Is there much of a difference between Accurate 4064 and IMR 4064? I've seen the Accurate powder a few times but been looking for the IMR

I plan on loading it for 308. I've read Accurate seems to be a bit slower then Imr. Since I plan on using it for hammers it doesn't seem to be the best but I haven't seem imr 4064 anyplace lately but accurate pops up from time to time

IMR 4064 was on the Hodgdon site a few days ago, ~$38/lb +$40 hazmat ship

A4064 is a good powder in the 308.

Of course it was. I check the site multiple times a day but have been busy this week and traveling so I didn't check it very much. Just my luck
Every time I check, the only thing available besides black powder supplies is the powder funnel.

I built a budget load last fall with Speer 168 and A 2495. SD was single digit and accuracy was on par with my Sierra load. I've been able to find as much of 2495 as I want.
I have gone back to faster powders for that reason. I've not tried that 2495 yet though

I don't get amazing vel but it's a 20 in barrel that pretty much only shoots steel so it doesn't bother me. When I bought the first couple pounds it was $24.99

In my experience the variance between the 2 differs more from lot to lot than burn rate between the 2...
