Accuracy issues driving me wild.

So I got a chiappa little badger in 22 mag,

Have tried 2 scopes,
replaced the plastic rail with an aluminium one and lock tighted it down,
everything is torqued to spec
have tried 4 different kinds of ammo
cleaned the barrel
tried resting in different ways on bag

best groups im shooting at 50 are like 2 inches maybe.

Im starting to think its the way it recoils with the wire stock, it seems more accurate when not rested as tightly.

Could this just be a matter of it not liking the ammo?

I really want this little gun to work!

Have you tried CCI ammo? I've had my best luck with it for 22 mag.

use the jacketed, plastic tipped ammo if you're chasing accuracy. And check the crown.....

Another thing to consider... If you buy a ***, expect it to shoot like a ***. Seems to work thatta way, more often than not.
