Absolute Hammer load data

I'm close to having my Sherman 7 Max ready to begin trying powders for the 155 AH, thanks to ButterBean for finding a way to adjust crimp dies for wildcats.

I have formed brass and have 50 rds fired 2x and 150 rds on one barrel.
Initial load is 180 Berger Hyb over 63.5 gr of RL-23 at 3,025 fps in a 26" Bartlein.

I noticed in the load data that there's some data on 7 saum and 155 AH using RL-27. I'm not liking trying RL-27 in Texas summers, though I have 8#.

I'm hoping the Absolute Brain Trust can steer me towards powder to run the 155 or even the 140 AH. I have a pretty wide supply of powder.

I would certainly appreciate knowledgeable thoughts
Since the Absolute Hammers generally prefer faster powders, and because you want temp stability, you might try StaBall 6.5, if you have any or can get some. It is giving great results with many different AH weights and loads.

I'm interested to hear your results. I've got a 7 Max build in progress. Will be experimenting with the 172 AH and have been looking at the 155 or 140 as well.

The only other powders I have available for test are IMR7828 and N165, both of which seem to slow for the 260rem and the 6.5-06.

I hope some one can help me out. I'm wanting to try out the Hammer bullets. My gun is a 243 1:10 twist it looks like the 88 gr need a faster twist then what i have, i was thinking of using them for my Antelope hunt this year. thx

I use the nosler manual for a like bullet weight and go up. Hammers tend to not build pressure like normal cup and core. I start I'm between noslers mid and max load and work up until I find pressure in my rifle.

I will doing load work for the 69 AH's for a neighbor in a 243 after hay season and was trying to determine a good powder. Never loaded for 243 so slight will be winging it. I'm looking at varget but maybe too slow. Wish hodgon would lost case fill
