Since the Absolute Hammers generally prefer faster powders, and because you want temp stability, you might try StaBall 6.5, if you have any or can get some. It is giving great results with many different AH weights and loads.I'm close to having my Sherman 7 Max ready to begin trying powders for the 155 AH, thanks to ButterBean for finding a way to adjust crimp dies for wildcats.
I have formed brass and have 50 rds fired 2x and 150 rds on one barrel.
Initial load is 180 Berger Hyb over 63.5 gr of RL-23 at 3,025 fps in a 26" Bartlein.
I noticed in the load data that there's some data on 7 saum and 155 AH using RL-27. I'm not liking trying RL-27 in Texas summers, though I have 8#.
I'm hoping the Absolute Brain Trust can steer me towards powder to run the 155 or even the 140 AH. I have a pretty wide supply of powder.
I would certainly appreciate knowledgeable thoughts
