For anyone interested in the ABS carbon wrapped barrels like GoodGrouper used on his .338 thunder check out the January issue of Shooting Times. GoodGrouper has gone into greater technical detail here with the infrared and all but the article was still informative. They showed the carbon being wrapped and machined as well.
