A neck turning question

I have begun to do some neck turning. My question is this. If you set up to just clean the necks..Is it normal to have a case or two that the entire neck gets turned. After Measuring..They are all the same but some got 80% cleaned up some got 100% turned.

My 6.5-284 with a .294 neck using Lapua brass has most of the necks the way you described yours. The majority are around 75-80% turned with some 100%.
