I went to the Angeles shooting range today. The targets were visible but it was quite cloudy. Even though I am still handicapped with cheap optics,(The cloudy day really amplified how bad cheap optics are ) I still had fun and got some quality trigger time. My trigger press is getting consistent even with the heavy trigger. Once I moved my zero to 300 yards I everything settled into a sort of rhythm.
over the course of the day I even got to help zero a Tikka T3 in .30-06 for a guy who just got it new and was having trouble no thanks to his dumb$#!t spotter. Many great shooters have helped me in the past so I was passing it along. Considering how light the gun was, the recoil was mild for an '-06. Over all Once again the evil silhouette hordes have been driven back for another week and a good time was had by all.
