a bolt disassembly

I'm sure this has been talked about in past forums, but I'm wondering if someone can help explain the take-down of the a bolt and x bolt. Or if someone can link me to a previous forum that would be great also. I am new to the gunsmithing section of the forums, so I appolagize for the repeat. Thanx
