85 clicks left on nightforce. what distace?

l zeroed my rifle at 200-300-400 METERS today. And l have 85 clicks left of 1/4 moa. what is the maximum range that 85 clicks will give me after 400 meters? my rifle is a 7mm rem mag. 175 grain psp at 2850 fps out of a 22 inch barel?

I need the BC of that bullet. But its gonna be just a bit past 1000 yards.

If you have 85 clicks left after 400 meters, it will get you past 1000 yards. The ballistics program I checked showed 1000 yards was 17.89 moa, which is about 72 clicks. This was using a 150 grain, B.C. of .500 at 3110.

and the 175s only get me to 950yards after 400 meters with 85 clicks?

If i`m reading you right you essentially are using a 400m zero with 85 clicks or about 22.25 MOA of up left after that. The 175gr Winchster PSP only has a BC of .427 and at 2850fps you need approx 31MOA of up to get to 1000 yards. Using the 150`s you will need about 30MOA.

Get yourself and MOA rail that way your starting zero will be lower down in the scopes range and you`ll have more up left.

My program shows 21.79 to get to 1000 yards so that would be 87 clicks, but only 20.5 moa to 975. These programs aren't exact so you will need to verify the ranges, but when you get to the max adjustments in your scope the windage is severely limited. The best bet would be to get an angled base or rings for your outfit to get you to these ranges.

We are all giving you info off of slightly different programs and I for one guessed your sight hight at 2 inches becouse you didnt say, and I didnt ask. But any way you look at it, you are cutting it too close and wont have any windage. A 20MOA scope mount will give you what your lookin for and then some.

Ok. thanks for the answers guys. l dont think l will be taking 1000 yard shots at game any way. but just wondering: 400 meter zero with 85 clicks left and l max them out, aiming through my mil dot retical,what mil do l have to aim with at 1000 yards with 175 psp. And with a 200 meter zero aiming at 1000 meters where do l hold the mil- dots to hit that target?
