7wsm seating depth poll.

I am working up a load for my new 7wsm. It has a Stiller Tac 300 with a Krieger 1-9 twist 24" barrel. I am hoping to get the 168 Berger VLD hunting rounds to shoot well. My most accurate load so far is 69 grains of H1000. Those were shot .010 off the lands. It only holds about 3/4 inch groups at 100 yards.

Now I am working on seating depth changes. I have loaded up some more rounds all with the same charge but varied the seating depth. I have 6 rounds each for .040, .070, .100 and .130 off the lands.

I was just curious what you guys are seating the Berger VLD'S at.

I can't imagine why you'd want to gather that information. If you intend to apply the range of numbers collected in the poll to creating a load for yourself, the data you're collecting actually has no real value. No two rifles, even if they're chambered with the same reamer, can be expect to perform alike.
