At what point is a Long action preferable when building at 7WSM?

At what point is a Long action preferable when building at 7WSM?

When you are going to shoot 180 vlds and want mag load or to unload a live round without removing the bolt.

I wish my WSM was a long action but I also wish my 260 was a long action but long actions have flex issues (well...)
