I'm in the process to build a 7SAUM in a long action to punch paper with 168 or 180grs bullets.
I red everything I found about the subject but still have a question.
What is the best troath length considering case filling and bullet weight?
Should I make a dummy round and place the begining of the boatail flush with the end of the neck? Go deeper or less???
The barrel is a Kreiger 1x8,5-5R. Obviously I don't know if the 180 will be more accurate than the 168 so should I troath for the 180 or the 168?
What is the way to go? What do you guys do?
