If all else fails, just size down some 308 brass. One pass thru your 7-08 FL die, load & shoot. Has worked great for me. Just a thought..

Might end up going this route, I have some family that shoots 7mm-08 and they don't reload, I built a load for their rifles so its just best for their case to keep the headstamped brass as the 7mm-08.
