7mm08 162 Amax powder recommendations

Looking for powder recommendations for the 7mm08 with a 162g Amax bullet. I am new to this caliber but have shot long range with 6/284 and 22/250AI in years past. My new rig is a Lawton action w/ Krieger 24in 1 in 8 twist and 10 rnd Accy Int. detachable box mags. I am limited to the box mag length for seating depth. I have read up on Reloader 17but am weary of the the new kid on the block. Does anyone have a favorite powder for the 7'08 162g amax that you would like to share ? I do need as much velocity as I can get (2700?) as our match is shot to 1000. The bulk of the points are gained 200-600 yards, so if I lose a few 900-1000 is all good. I'm in it for the fun with my son... TM
