Okay fellows here it is my son and I tagged out opening day today pictures to follow.

Not the biggest guy but it was my first kill with my STW. It was a 300 yard shot. My 14 year old son shot the bigger one while I was dressing mine out.

There's places that you can get as far as you want. But my area is usually 2-300 yards.

I'm having a hard time finding a good spot. They closed our local range. It was on public land and the state sold it.

The range at Minihaha park. Peabody took the land back from the state and sold it off.

I'm shooting 175gr Eld-x at 3240 with RL 26. Will post the bullet preference tomorrow if I get my LoL. So far on paper this load is very accurate.

H50bmg and 175 partitions, 215 match primer at 3.666 coal in 8mm rm brass. 84-86.5 grain ladder for testing. I typically shoot 86 grains at 3k fps at sea level but I wanted to run a ladder in the mountains this weekend.
I know 71.7 grains of 7828 behind a 175 eldx goes into the 3k fps but I want a partition or accubond bonded for this season. I was not impressed with the eldx last year.

I wasnt happy with my meat loss after the 175 grain eldx exploded at modest velocity.
