Match grade. Greg, I do my own gunsmithing, had to give up 7mm due to recoil and shoulder. I have examined this barrel and it is smooth as any custom I have ever owned. I have gauged the barrel from breach to muzzle and it is uniform to the .0001 from end to end. I expect that it would shoot like the very, very best of any customs out there.
