My son ordered a 7mm sherman max. Any thoughts or ideas on hunting loads for this cal. It will be used on deer, elk, antelope. Thanks

I have two I like. 155 hammer hunters at 3200 FPS and 168 Berger Classics at 3100 FPS.

thanks for your input. he has changed his mind on the sherman. leaning towards the 300 PRC due to a number of reasons. One being readily available ammo thru manufacturers as well as brass. Thanks again !

There will certainly be more ammo for a prc, but you can shoot factory 7 SAUM ammo out of a 7 sherman max, and ADG makes great brass, and will be coming out with already formed brass soon. Plus any other company that makes 7 SAUM brass would work too.

Does anyone know a smith with 7 max reamer that will chamber an LE Wilson seating die for me. This has been an unreasonably difficult task. I feel like buying a mill!

He turned me down already. Tristan said the way they are setup, "it's not possible". They reamed my chambers, but sent my die body blank back to me
