7mm sherman max

My son ordered a 7mm sherman max. Any thoughts or ideas on hunting loads for this cal. It will be used on deer, elk, antelope. Thanks
 
thanks for your input. he has changed his mind on the sherman. leaning towards the 300 PRC due to a number of reasons. One being readily available ammo thru manufacturers as well as brass. Thanks again !
 
There will certainly be more ammo for a prc, but you can shoot factory 7 SAUM ammo out of a 7 sherman max, and ADG makes great brass, and will be coming out with already formed brass soon. Plus any other company that makes 7 SAUM brass would work too.

However, the PRC is a good round too. Just some info, in case you didn't already know all this.

You have to use a sizing reamers for the LE Wilson blanks. If the smiths don't have them, then it can't be done. Chamber reamers won't work.
