7mm SAUM

The 180s make more sense to me in this chambering. With the velo gain with the 180, you can out run the 195. Really need to step up in case capacity for the 195 to shine. The 180 hybrid had been devistating on deer for me.

195's are running 3002 fps
out of my 30" barrel.
And the gun shoots better than I can.
I can seat the bullets deeper but then I have an even more compressed load.. :(

180's it is. Lets hope they shoot like the 195's.
Thanks again.
Your numbers were a BIG help. I also need to start annealing my brass. Especially considering you can't find it anywhere.

Just checked. My brass. The shoulder needs to be set back. I full length size but need to adjust the depth.

Im looking at trying the 168 VLD and 180 hybrid in my factory Rem 700 24" barrel, figure it has the standard Rem 9.125" twist.

I'm limited to 2.95" OAL in the mag.

Any good load advice with RL23, RL26 or H1000?

RL 26 will get you top velocity. H1000 will get compressed before you reach pressure. RL 23 might be your ticket.
