7mm RM 180 vld-h over RL26???

Ha ha ya it's all good lol. Ya, of course work your loads in your rifles up, especially if components vary at all. But in general, with a 26", you don't tend to come up on pressure until roughly 3000 fps or so with the 180, using rl26. Hope all goes well for you!

I use h1000 in a 28" 7rem mag with 180hybrids, my node is on upper end at 3050fps. Retumbo works great with the 197smk

I am at 2844 fps at 64.0, no pressure, great node, sd of 3, but they may need more jump and speed to tighen up. So tomorrow an trying 75 85 95 115 130 and 155 thou jump, went up to 65 thou and it was best, 155 thou is book coal. Gonna also load from 64.6 to 66.0 grs and see if it will help at book coal as well.

I m shooting 66.5 of R26 with 180 ELDM ... 2930 FPS 69 grs of Retumbo was avg g 2865 FPS.

Getting no signs of pressure with the 26, shot a 1 1/2" group at 300 and called it good. 26" Rem 700 LR.

I have a 700 LR in 300 wm, it shoots as well, 5 differnt bullets .5, 5 shot groups.
Am at 66.2 in a huge speed node, 65.7 to 66.4 has a es of 12 fps for the 8 shots, .1 grs apart, at 2889 fps av with sd's averaging about 4.5 fps. But Ive tried from .005 to .155/book coal jump and the vld-h's are not shooting consistently out of this barrel. It shot a .5 group today and averaged 1.25 for 10 groups. Gonna go to a hybrid or eldx this week. Its not a seating stem issue as the bto is only .001 up or down, with very few being .002 up or down. This pic is a lie, cuz it dont shoot it consistently. I will say with RL26 in about 50 5 shot groups my highest sd has been 9.

At a lower node, at 64.0 grs at 2809 fps it shot .625, I may go back and see if its constant there.
