HI. Both the Hornady 162 BTSP and the 150 Scirocco shoot under 1 moa out to 800 yards. I will be using this gun for both mule deer and elk at ranges out to 700 yards if conditions are right. What bullet would be the best for 700 yard performance on the animals and why???

For elk I would lean towards the 150 Sirocco, so long as it opens easily at that range. Being a bonded core bullet I imagine it would penetrate better than the 162 BTSP.
Have you tried the 160 accubond?

Stu.

Yes, I tried the accubond and berger 168 vld at different powders and at all different col's. The BTSB's and the sciroccos far outshoot the others...hands down.

Mule Deer or Elk would make your choice easier. There is a considerable weight difference between the two. Unless you are hunting in an area with really large Mullies and really small Elk!
