Hello everyone,
I am new to this site and to long range shooting past 400 yards. I have just purchased a Ruger M77 all weather in 7mm rem. mag. for a very good price. I don't care for the hollow stock on these guns and want some advice on a replacement. I also want to add a break to help with recoil.
I have this gun in a 270 blued with a wood stock and really like it but I feel limited in range with the 270.
I want an acurate rifel for hunting and a little targeting. I don't see myself shooting past 600 yards but you never know. Any information and advice will be great. The rifle has not been fired yet so advice on breaking it in will help also.
