Above I have posted popular slow burning powders on a numbers basis H1000 being the Fastest and RL 33 being the Slowest.

N568 is at 0.30 identical to 8133 in the list above. It is a blend of N565 and N570. If you PM me what the volume of you brass is in H20 weight, what bullet you are using, how long your barrel is, and where you will seat your bullet or Coal, I can model it for you to give you some starting loads. I would not recommend trying to use 8133 data just because the published burn rate is the same. But, all of this should help you figure things
out.

I would note, that Vihtavuori does not list even N565 in their load data until at least 180 to 190 gr. bullets in 7MM Mag.
Below that its their faster N560 which is more comparable to H1000. So unless you are going to use really heavy bullets,
stuff like N570 and N568 may be too slow to get optimum accuracy, though you may get more velocity?
Thanks veteran!!!!

7mm Rem Mag, I'd think whichever you have that is the closest to IMR4350 and H4350 performance would work just fine... My experience has been that the 4350 powders always performed well when I was shooting a 7 Rem, Mag... old school? sure, but it worked. ;)

Yep, H4350, IMR 4350, around .43 burn rate. N560 around .37 to .4
For bullets in 140 to 170 weights ought to work fine.

Alright... wanna know what people are thinking for a TI build i just finished. Going to do load work. I have the following powders. I want to load 175 bergers and 180 bergers

H1000
8133
N565
N568- really hoping someone has loaded some;)
N570

Im got it throated long also.. 3.580

H1000 is definitely my go-to for 7mag, 8133 was a hair more accurate in my gun and gave amazing velocity well over 3100fps with a 162 but it's a hot double base (so is the Vhit 500 series) and I lost .012" out of my throat in 250rounds. Good luck!

I've had some great results with 8133 and 175's. Also used Retumbo, 7977, and RL 22 but 8133 is still my favorite. Originally got it to find another option to Retumbo and discovered a few more FPS, and I think it burns just a touch cleaner IMO. Best accuracy with everything was sub 1/2 MOA. 8133 was fastest and also offered the largest velocity node.

We shall see how 568 pans out. Really just wanted an excuse to try it
Not apple to apples, but I tried 568 in a 300 Win with 230 OTM's. Velocity was similar to H1000 but it took a few more grains of powder to get the same velocity. I was into pretty compressed loads by the end.

I'm going to revisit it more. It had the most consistent point of impact over 7 or 8 grains of charge weight difference I've ever experienced.
  • 15 shots fired
  • .5gr increases in charge weight between shots
  • 15 shot group measured at 1.37"

Zero seating depth testing. I was just looking for max pressure. I never found it.

For some reason, I don't think everyone finds that impressive but I usually have groups open when I'm doing pressure testing.
