7mm load development

If my node was .3 grains I would try a different powder. My 7 mag does not like the slower powders as much.
 
Just to give you an idea here's the seating depth test I did with my 28 Nosler this weekend. The load had an ES of 10 so I figured it had potential as a long range load.
The -040 group is. 220"
The -.060 group is .270"
I shot 2 of each seating depth and then went back and shot a 3rd shot at the -.040&-.060 depth. I had to load at home so I just loaded 3 of each. I didn't bother shooting the -.100.
I did load workup at .010 and it was not as good about .5" groups.

You have a winner. Not many shooters, myself included, get extreme spreads of 10, let alone standard deviations of 10.
 
Thanks can't wait to shoot it at long-range I'll try it at 600 and see how it holds together
