I've got the 150LRAB running good in my 280 AI...has anyone tested the .309 G7 BC to see if it holds up ? Also what do you think of this bullet for elk I'm running it 3000 fps ?

I'm building a 284 right now for a long range hunting rifle, and I too would like to know if these 150gr LRAB are living up to the claimed BC. This is the bullet I am planning on running in my gun if it shoots and performs well.

I have them in 7mm 150gr. Last weekend i shot ground squirrels with them out to 525 yards. My scope is a leupold 4.5x14 cds. I have a 300 yard zero, 3" high at 100 yards.

At 6 additional clicks 1.5 moa, i hit dead on at 400. 11 total clicks (5more) was dead on at 500. This would hold the bcs as true for 3450fps. I was at 1000 ft elevation

I was shooting a rem700 in 7stw with 80 gr of 7828. 26" barrel..

I was also lucky enough to use the 150gr version in 270 ackley improved for deer and elk last year. Good reports on each. I recovered the broadside elk bullet from the hide.
