We just added this 120g Hammer Hunter to the lineup. Should have done this one sooner. This will be great in the 7-08 or any 7mm for that matter.

Thanks Sierra quit making 120s in 7 mm (SMK) so I will order some

I thought the 143HH were cooking out of my 7wsm, these would really scoot!

Maybe something to consider for a reduced power load?

Steve,
I have a barreled action waiting for stock to get here. 7-08 AI 24" 1-8 twist. I was originally looking at a 143HH and trying to get stability factor above 2. Question is do you think 1-8 will be a little too much of a good thing for the 120HH?

It won't hurt anything.

Used the 121gr Hammer in my 264 mag , 24" Bbl. ( 1/8 twist ) at over 3400fps to take my elk this past season. The shot at about 80 yds passed completely thru both shoulders with a DRT result. This kind of shot is what blows C&C bullets apart. Many seem to think all elk are shot at long range but my experience is that the vast majority of elk I have taken has been under 200yds. Many under 100. The mono bullet has proven it's ability to absolutely stay together under high velocity & PENETRATE. What your looking at here is the exit hole on this elk..
