The largest bear killed last year in october in New Jersey scored 23 5/16 by Pope & Young. After 30 years of no hunting the season was reintroduced in 2003, the bear was shot in 2019 and was one of 315 bears killed last year. It weighed 700 lbs and was killed in Morris county NJ, largest bear killed in North America by bow.

Outstanding,many years ago,mid 90's I was on a hunt where a friend arrowed a 22'' type bear.At the time it was well up there. Ill never forget how big,bears like that are bigger than many of our grizz.Having seen both. Dyrk Eddie hes been pursuing the slam,might have it by now archery
