7 SAUM with a BDL floorplate on a long 700?????

Title pretty much ask my question. If i wanted to stay away from the detachable mag and run a floor-plate for what am I looking at here issue wise.

Floor plate doesn't matter but if its not a short mag already you might have feeding issues. JE Custom (I think) wrote about it on a thread here somewhere that should answer your questions

If I was wanting a 7mm saum on a long action I'd roll with a 280 Ackley. Ballistics twins

Even if you started with an ultra mag action and magazine body? I'd think it should feed given the same body diameter. I remember JE mentioned a center feed mag box or something on that order for just this situation.

Just had one done and had to add a small block to the box.Size will depend on your seating depth.
