7 saum or 280ai with Bergers - what to build?

Hello,
I want either a 7 saum or 280 ai for deer hunting.
I believe that recoil, accuracy and speed are about the same for these calibers?

That said, I want to be sure I can load either caliber and get them to feed out of the magazine.

What caliber and what action would you use?
I thought I read that a Tikka would be good with a 7saum since the Tikka is sort of a long action?
Will a 280ai feed out of a Rem 700 action?

I am shooting a model 700 in 280AI and even with the 168 VLDs touching the lands I still have plenty of room in the magazine. Close to 1/4" I'd guess.

I'm still shooting my 7 saum. Maybe 600 rounds downrange and still reasonably accurate. I thought brass was going to be a problem but not so far. Have been able to find 7 saum or 300 saum brass that will work.

As for saum vs 280 ai... I guess it boils down to what length action you have and which bolt face.
